Introduction

Thanks for stopping by. This is my first post. When I initially set this website up I thought that it would be a static page that would explain the nature of my research and provide information about my publications. But as I read the news, I sometimes felt the urge to comment more at length on what I was reading, or what my experience has allowed me to recognize as inaccurate, yet widespread ideas of the kind that prevent researchers from making knowledgeable judgments about the validity of certain developments which were the subject of my publications. So I decided that I would occasionally indulge in writing short pieces about current issues of interpretation in fundamental theoretical physics which are of particular interest to me. I hope that this will allow the eventual reader to more accurately understand the challenges we are facing in this field of research which is (or should be) of interest to everyone.
